About GemMatrix

GemMatrix was established in November 2004 under the management of people with a passion for building a creative business using the highest quality natural stones. It started out with just the director, a manager and three sorters of stones.

In 2014 GemMatrix celebrated a decade of providing its customers with the high quality precious and semi-precious stones on the market, through a team of more than 120 people in its Bangkok and Hong Kong offices and three cutting and polishing factories, located in Bangkok, Chanthaburi and Isan province in Thailand.

In a relatively short period of time Gemmatrix has grown into a major manufacturer and dealer of calibrated Sapphires, Rubies and Emeralds of superior quality.

One of the main activities of GemMatrix is the production of Australian sapphires, cut from rough stones which are selected from the Inverell Fields Kings Plain area in Australia, and further heat treated, cut and sorted to ensure the highest quality stones are produced. By carrying out the entire production cycle in-house at our factories, we are able to source high-quality calibrated stones at competitive prices. One of the main reasons for our company’s success is that the production and selection process is closely based upon our clients’ specific needs, and we use their requirements as the basis for further orders, ensuring that our service is both efficient and tailored to our clients’ requirements.
